Philadelphia Magazine: Pennsylvania’s Big Mail-In Primary Could Get Messy. What You Need to Know to Make Your Vote Count

Scott Seeborg, Pennsylvania director of the national voting rights advocacy group All Voting Is Local, says his organization has fielded many complaints regarding ballot delivery status. Seeborg says one positive development amidst the mayhem is the fact that Philadelphia voters are receiving ballots with prepaid return envelopes. (Not all counties are taking that route.)

Philadelphia Inquirer: Ramp up vote-by-mail efforts so Pa. can lead the way on June 2 | Opinion

As Pennsylvania prepares for its June 2 primary, just two days before the state’s stay-at-home orders are lifted on June 4, state and local election officials must act now to ensure the pandemic doesn’t jeopardize our election. Voters shouldn’t have to choose between their safety and making their voices heard. Officials must take steps to protect both: mail every registered voter a ballot with paid return postage. At a minimum, officials should extend the deadlines to apply for and submit ballots by mail.
