Voting Rights Advocates Call on Georgia Secretary of State to Mandate Ballot Drop Boxes

ATLANTA — All Voting is Local Georgia, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., and nearly 20 nonpartisan voting rights organizations urged Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to enact three strategies for expanding access to ballot return ballot drop boxes, which will provide safe and accessible voting for all Georgians in the general election.

Pennsylvania Civil Rights, Immigrant Rights Organizations Showcase Voter Guides in More Than 10 Languages

PHILADELPHIA — All Voting Is Local, in collaboration with Citizens for Language Access, a group of voting and immigrant rights organizations representing over 15 language minority communities in Philadelphia, will showcase non-partisan user-friendly voter guides available in more than 10 languages on Thursday, September 17th from 10:30 a.m. — 12 p.m. ET via Facebook Live and Zoom. The resources were designed by the City of Philadelphia after months of collaboration between the city’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and Citizens for Language Access partner organizations.

Advisory: Advocates Implore Florida Gov. DeSantis to Expand Voter Registration Outreach, Voting Options

TALLAHASSEE - All Voting is Local Florida and leading voting rights advocates will host a telephone press briefing on Thursday, September 17, at 10 am ET and urge Gov. Ron DeSantis to issue an executive order to increase the use of ballot drop boxes, allow more time for mail-in ballots to be counted, and to expand early voting. Advocates will also press Gov. DeSantis to expand voter registration outreach efforts, which is especially critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.
