Stephanie Jackson Ali is All Voting is Local’s Georgia campaign manager.
A native Southerner, Ali has spent her life organizing, advocating, and educating. She led her first protest as a high schooler in rural Alabama, leading other students in a first amendment walk out. Since 2014, Stephanie has focused on voter access for suppressed groups in Georgia through her work with the Coalition of Refugee Service Agencies and, most recently, as Community Engagement Manager at ACLU of Georgia.
Ali holds bachelor’s degrees in English and journalism from the University of Georgia as well as a master’s of social work with a focus on community empowerment from University of Georgia.
In her free time, Ali is an avid reader and collector of comics and graphic novels, especially anything featuring Batman. Voter rights is Ali’s personal passion as well. She spends her free time serving as Board Secretary of the Georgia Muslim Voter Project. She is inspired daily by her husband Mehraz and son Asher.
