Las Vegas, NV — As we await the counting of thousands of mail-in ballots across Nevada, All Voting is Local Nevada State Director, Kerry Durmick issued the following statement:
“We want to be clear: The election is not over until every ballot is counted. Across Nevada, citizens turned out to vote during the early voting period and on Election Day, and right now, election officials are working to count every ballot with care. Our election process has procedures and redundancies to ensure accuracy and these measures take time. We ask Nevadans to be patient as we wait for the official results of the elections.”
Background Information:
Thousands of vote-by-mail ballots including ballots received in drop boxes and mail-in ballots that were postmarked by Election Day are in the process of being counted, which could take a couple of days and will delay election results.
