ATLANTA — All Voting is Local Georgia, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., and nearly 20 nonpartisan voting rights organizations urged Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to enact three strategies for expanding access to ballot return ballot drop boxes, which will provide safe and accessible voting for all Georgians in the general election. 

TALLAHASSEE - All Voting is Local Florida and leading voting rights advocates will host a telephone press briefing on Thursday, September 17, at 10 am ET and urge Gov. Ron DeSantis to issue an executive order to increase the use of ballot drop boxes, allow more time for mail-in ballots to be counted, and to expand early voting. Advocates will also press Gov. DeSantis to expand voter registration outreach efforts, which is especially critical during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

TALLAHASSEE - The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and All Voting is Local, with its joint And Still I Vote℠ campaign, will host a Facebook Live discussion on Wednesday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. ET with award-winning actress and activist Kerry Washington about dismantling barriers to voting by mail.
