Nevada’s Presidential Preference Primary Voter Information

Early voting for the PPP will last for seven days, from Saturday, January 27, to Friday, February 2.

To vote in the PPP, you must be registered with a major political party—either Democrat or Republican. Nevada has same-day voter registration, and you can register to vote and/or change your party affiliation during the early voting period or on February 6, 2024, before casting your ballot.

All registered, eligible voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the PPP, but only voters who have Democratic or Republican as their party in their registration may vote in this election. If you aren’t sure if you are registered to vote or have questions about your party affiliation, you can check and make any changes at registertovotenv.com. 

January 23, 2024 is the last day to register in order for you to receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the PPP.

The Effective System for Absentee Elections (EASE) will be available beginning on Saturday, December 23, 2023, and it will be available until polls close on February 6.

Clark County provides voting materials and ballots in Spanish and Tagalog.

Please call Clark County’s Election Department at 702-455-3666 for the Spanish line or 702-455-7871 for the Tagalog line. You can speak to an election worker and request they send you a Spanish or Tagalog vote-by-mail ballot. Please call on or before January 23, 2023. 

Washoe County provides voting materials and ballots in Spanish. Every eligible registered voter automatically receives a Spanish and English vote-by-mail ballot in Washoe County. 

Nevada’s other 15 counties provide voting materials and ballots in English only. If you vote in another language, you may bring someone to the polls to help you.

The Nevada Republican Party is also hosting a caucus in addition to the state-run primary. The Nevada Republican Party will run the entire caucus.
