All Voting is Local Michigan engages with county and state election officials, voting rights advocates, and local leaders to advocate for a pro-voter agenda that ensures Michigan voters can easily cast their ballot without worry. Our team works to ensure clerks are properly supported and educated on the resources available to them. We promote youth civic engagement by working with partners to support voting summits on college campuses throughout the state. We assist in the recruitment of poll workers to staff polling locations and assist with new early voting requirements. We also work closely with our partners to provide voter education and to expand access to the ballot.

FEATURED WORK
All Voting Michigan successfully advocated for 20 priority communities to seek additional funding to implement the nine days of early voting now required under the state constitution. In 2023, All Voting Michigan kicked off a campaign to ensure the effective implementation of Proposition 2, a voter-passed constitutional amendment that added protections for vote counting and certification.
All Voting and partners trained teams of residents in the state’s four regions to advocate for the equitable implementation of key provisions in Proposition 2 so that the benefits of these new protections would reach all voters. Working with local clerks and the office of the secretary of state – our first statewide initiative with clerks of its kind – our team and partners advocated for ballot return drop boxes accessible to Black and Brown Michiganders, a statewide ballot tracking system for voters, and increased election funding.
