Las Vegas, NV — All Voting is Local Nevada State Director, Kerry Durmick issued the following statement on Nevada’s voting system and our hardworking election officials.

“Our dedicated election officials are working to count every ballot with care and precision. Across the state, and especially in Clark County, they are working diligently to keep Nevadans informed with up-to-date voter information since Election Day. Our election process has well-established procedures and redundancies to ensure accuracy and these measures take time. Due to the nature of this process, unfortunately, conspiracy theorists will continue to push false claims around Nevada’s voting system. Thousands of ballots have yet to be counted, and we urge Nevadans to be patient as we wait for certified election results, which will take a couple of days. We want to assure Nevadans that Nevada’s voting system is safe and secure and take this moment to thank our tireless elections officials who continue to work through false claims with dignity and respect.”

Background Information:

Thousands of vote-by-mail ballots including ballots received in drop boxes and mail-in ballots that were postmarked by Election Day are in the process of being counted, which could take a couple of days and will delay election results.
