MILWAUKEE — On Monday, All Voting is Local Action Wisconsin and partners are hosting a roundtable discussion on voting rights with Wisconsin state lawmakers Rep. Scott Krug (R-Rome) and Rep. Lee Snodgrass (D-Appleton). Participants will discuss the major voting topics currently happening in the Badger State, including the proposed constitutional amendment that voters will decide on in April, which, if passed, would permanently enshrine voter ID laws into the state constitution.

This unnecessary measure will keep thousands of eligible voters who don’t have a photo ID from being able to vote. It will especially disproportionately impact marginalized communities, including people with disabilities, economically disenfranchised voters, the elderly, youth voters, and those residing in rural areas – all folks who are less likely to have valid photo IDs.

Monday’s roundtable will allow state legislators from both sides of the aisle to have an open and honest dialogue.
