Arizona, Maricopa County has record voter turnout for primary election
PHOENIX – Despite 62 polling locations in Maricopa County that were not open on time on election day, Arizona saw the largest voter turnout than any other primary in the state’s history. Nearly 1.2 million Arizonans cast a ballot, which is about 33 percent of the state’s registered voters, according to the official election canvas.
