Prior to joining the organization, Gardner spent nearly a decade working as an organizer, field director, and campaign manager on several congressional and issue advocacy campaigns in Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and New York.

Gardner also worked for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign as a deputy organizing director. He brings a passion for community organizing, social justice, and democracy.

Gardner is a proud graduate of Michigan State University, holding a bachelor’s degree in comparative cultures and politics from MSU’s James Madison College of Public Affairs.
