Brooke Harris is a Detroit-based democracy advocate and community organizer with nearly a decade of experience protecting voting rights and building civic power. Harris believes that an informed and engaged community is the foundation of a functioning democracy and has spent her career turning that belief into action: from training teams of canvassers and developing accessible voter education curriculum at the Michigan League of Conservation Voters to leading state-level political violence mitigation efforts as Michigan State Lead for Princeton University’s Bridging Divides Initiative. A University of Michigan graduate with a Master’s in Social Justice from Marygrove College, she brings deep expertise in coalition building, curriculum design, and transformative justice to everything she does.
