Deja Dunning is All Voting is Local’s Ohio Campaign Manager.

Dunning is a community-centered leader with more than a decade of experience
advancing equity, building cross-sector partnerships, and leading initiatives designed to
strengthen communities. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside residents,
community organizations, healthcare systems, nonprofits, and local government to turn
complex challenges into strategies that create meaningful and sustainable change.
Prior to joining All Voting is Local, Dunning served as Project Director at Rise Together
Innovation Institute, where she led strategic initiatives focused on addressing systemic
barriers and advancing economic mobility throughout Franklin County. Her work has
centered on bringing diverse voices to the table, building strong coalitions, and ensuring
that the people most impacted by decisions have a meaningful role in shaping them.

Dunning brings that same commitment to her work at All Voting is Local, where she
works to protect access to the ballot and strengthen civic participation across Ohio. She
believes lasting change happens when communities have the information, access, and
power to advocate for themselves and shape the systems that impact their lives.

Dunning holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and a Master of Healthcare
Administration and is currently completing her Doctor of Healthcare Administration. She
is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
