Crofts comes to All Voting with more than a decade of experience in voting rights, civil rights, and social justice work. Most recently, she was the policy director for Wisconsin Voices. As the organization’s first policy director, she built a program focused on protecting democracy, building community, and teaching advocacy. Crofts is also the past legal director for the ACLU of West Virginia—where she led the ACLU’s legal program for the Mountain State—as well as a former law clerk to Judge Joseph Goodwin on the Southern District of West Virginia. After several years in West Virginia, she returned home to the Midwest, where she organized in Milwaukee for the 2020 presidential election. Crofts is also an experienced writer and political commentator.

Crofts is a graduate of Northwestern Law School, where she was a student attorney with the MacArthur Justice Center and Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Center for International Human Rights. She also holds a B.A. in communications from Lake Forest College, with minors in French and politics.
