Jessica Herrera is All Voting is Local’s executive vice president for communications.

As a member of the organization’s senior leadership team, she oversees messaging and helps drive goals and strategies to ensure all Americans have the freedom to vote. Herrera has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit communications, developing and implementing strategies and leading teams to drive narrative change.

Most recently, she served as senior director of communications, creative and digital at Supermajority, where she led efforts to build women’s power through movement-wide messaging strategies. She has also led media strategy at environmental organizations including the Sierra Club and the Center for Biological Diversity.

Herrera began her career as a reporter and writer and later worked as a labor organizer. She holds a master’s degree in international studies from Johns Hopkins University.
