Jessica Herrera is All Voting is Local’s Executive Vice President for Communications.

As a member of the organization’s senior leadership team, she holds the organization’s message and helps drive goals and strategies to ensure all Americans have the freedom to vote.
Herrera has worked in nonprofit communications for more than a decade—creating and implementing communication strategies and leading teams to drive critical narrative change.

Most recently, she served as senior director of communications, creative, and digital at Supermajority, where she led the organization’s work to build women’s power using strong movement-wide messaging strategies. She has also driven media strategy at leading environmental organizations such as the Sierra Club and the Center for Biological Diversity.

Before diving into advocacy communications, Jessica cut her teeth as a reporter and writer. She also spent time as a labor organizer. She holds a masters degree in international studies from the Johns Hopkins University.
