Melissa Adams is a loyal, dependable, caring, dedicated and solutions-oriented leader with a deep passion for fostering growth, equity, and organizational excellence.

She brings a wealth of experience in shaping workplace cultures that prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging (DEIB), professional development, and long-term institutional sustainability. Her leadership has been instrumental in refining people strategy models, strategic planning, and guiding executive teams through complex workforce planning, compliance, and employee relations challenges.

Melissa began her career as a public school educator. In Act Two of her career, she served as a political appointee in President Obama’s White House Office of Management & Administration, where she led the national recruitment and professional development efforts for the White House Internship Program, reinforcing her commitment to cultivating leadership at all levels.

In the Human Resources space, Melissa excels in talent management, benefits administration, and compliance—always with an eye toward empowering employees and strengthening institutional effectiveness. An advocate for lifelong learning and community engagement, Melissa currently serves on the Governing Board of Madison Youth Choirs in Madison, WI. She is also an active musician and mentor, bringing her background in music education into her extra curricular and leadership work.

Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal and Instrumental Music Education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and is currently pursuing an MBA in Educational Leadership from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
