Tiffany FitzGerald is All Voting is Local’s Director of Development.

FitzGerald is a writer and movement strategist dedicated to serving movements for dignity, justice, and collective action to safeguard our shared future. She most recently served as the first-ever Black woman executive director of a D.C. advocacy organization that uses food education and community health interventions to create a more just and resilient food system. From 2018 to 2021, FitzGerald led the foundation relations program at Dēmos, where she mobilized resources to the frontlines of grassroots movements using an analysis that movement building for social change is under-resourced partly because it shifts power to people of the global majority. While at Dēmos, FitzGerald deepened engagement with funders to ease restrictions at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing general operating support and organizational flexibility to ensure safe and accessible voting options during an unprecedented moment in our civic landscape.

FitzGerald holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary.
