PHOENIX As tallying votes continues, All Voting Is Local Arizona State Director Alex Gulotta released the following statement:

“Arizonans deserve to have their voices heard and their votes counted. Elections do not end until every ballot is counted. Voters have done their job. Now election officials are doing theirs by ensuring that all votes are counted. This process is unfolding as it should; counting every vote takes time.”

Background: Thousands of vote-by-mail ballots including ballots received in drop boxes and mail-in ballots that were postmarked by Election Day are in the process of being counted, which could take a couple of days and will delay election results. This is part of the standard process for counting ballots.
