RENO, Nev. — All Voting is Local welcomes Kerry Durmick as its Nevada state director to lead the campaign’s fight to remove barriers between Nevadans and the ballot box. 

“We’re thrilled to have Kerry join the team and lead our campaign’s efforts in Nevada,” said Hannah Fried, national campaign director for All Voting is Local. “Kerry’s experience working directly within communities to strengthen democracy is in line with All Voting is Local’s mission and will be crucial in our efforts to expand access to the vote.” 

For more than a decade, Durmick has led outreach, community organizing, campaign efforts, media relations, and policy decisions to ensure that all Nevadans are engaged in our democracy. Prior to joining All Voting is Local, she served as Statewide Census Coordinator for the Nevada Census 2020 operation. Before that, Durmick served as the representative and grants director for U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.), In both positions, Durmick successfully implemented statewide strategies to increase civic engagement and expand educational resources for Nevadans. 

Durmick is based in Reno, joining the All Voting Is Local’s teams working on the ground in key states facing distinct assaults on voting rights: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
