June 5, 2025 WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, All Voting is Local released its “National Pro-Voter Agenda: Our Vision for the Future of Voting in America,” a long-term affirmative vision for voting that calls on state and local election officials to exercise their existing broad authority to expand all voters’ ballot access. Designed as a tool to be implemented by decision-makers, it centers on Black, Brown, Native American and other historically marginalized communities while offering a vision that combats tactics and policies, including President Trump’s executive order on elections, the federal SAVE Act, state SAVE Act copycat bills, and recent actions by DOGE referring alleged voter fraud cases to the U.S. Department of Justice.

The All Voting Pro-Voter Agenda, which comes on the heels of the nonpartisan organization’s third anniversary and at a time when hostility towards voting rights and voters are intensifying, outlines actionable solutions to ensure:

  • Every American can get on the rolls and stay on the rolls.
  • Every American can vote when, where, and how it works for them—in under 30 minutes.
  • Partisan interference in vote counting and certification is stopped.

“The work to ensure these goals doesn’t start or stop with federal legislation—it happens during every election, in every statehouse, every election office, and every community across the country,” said All Voting is Local Executive Director Hannah Fried.

Among the specific policies highlighted in the Pro-Voter Agenda are: responsible list maintenance, use of electronic voting machines, same-day voter registration, expanded language access, equitable voting access for justice-impacted voters, election official and worker protections, and stopping partisan interference in vote counting and certification

“Deliberate barriers to voting, intimidation of election workers, and the undermining of public confidence in our election system have become central tactics in an ongoing attempt to seize—and now maintain—power from the people and silence Black, Brown, Native American, and historically marginalized communities,” said Fried. “This isn’t just about executive overreach: It’s about stripping communities of their voice and power. From the White House to statehouses, these tactics aren’t confined to election cycles; they’re part of a relentless, multiyear strategy from anti-voter extremists to erode voting rights and consolidate power at all levels of government. As All Voting continues advocating for policies that expand access to the ballot for all voters, this agenda will serve to clearly and accurately define our positions and our priorities—across our eight states and across the country.”
