PHOENIX — All Voting is Local Arizona Campaign Manager Rosemary Avila issued the following statement urging the Arizona Senate to vote against SB1485 and, if passed, Gov. Doug Ducey to veto the bill, which would remove more than 100,000 voters from the state’s Permanent Early Voting List.
“By passing SB1485, the Arizona House chose to ignore the will of the people and unnecessarily punish voters.
“The Arizona Senate and Governor Doug Ducey must reject this bill and confirm what Arizonans already know: Putting up unnecessary barriers between voters and the ballot are brazenly harmful, unpopular, and deserve to fail.”
