PHOENIX — Today, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced grand jury indictments against Peggy Judd and Tom Crosby of the Cochise County Board of Supervisors, citing their attempts to delay election certification. In response, All Voting Is Local Arizona State Director Alex Gulotta released the following statement:
“The grand jury’s decision to indict Peggy Judd and Tom Crosby for their actions during the 2022 election is a significant step towards the ongoing battle to protect our democracy. Attorney General Mayes’ willingness to present evidence of Judd’s and Crosby’s actions is critical in making sure that bad actors are held accountable for their actions. We are thankful that Attorney General Mayes has taken action that upholds the rule of law here in Arizona.
