ORLANDO, Fla. – All Voting is Local and partners are hosting a trio of Florida supervisors of elections on Wednesday, May 6, in Orlando to discuss the steps they’re taking to get ready for the 2026 elections. The supervisors of elections from Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties will discuss what voters can expect, the major changes from previous elections, and their emergency preparedness.
Election administrators in Florida have more work on their plates than ever. Their most pressing duties will include ensuring voters know their 2024 requests to vote by mail have expired and must be resubmitted, preparing for a potential increase in in-person early voting, and ensuring the safety of election workers. The supervisors of elections will cover these and other major issues for the 2026 primary and midterm elections at this nonpartisan panel event in downtown Orlando.
