LANSING, MI—Today, All Voting is Local, in partnership with Michigan Voices, United Way for Southeastern Michigan, Common Cause MI, Activate Detroit, Campus Vote Project, Voters Not Politicians, MI PODER, Michigan League of Conservation Voters, Protect Democracy, and the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS), is pleased to announce the MIVoted campaign. Ashiya Brown, All Voting is Local Michigan state director, released the following statement:
“Michigan Voters overwhelmingly voted to expand voting rights by passing Proposition 2 in 2022. Ahead of the 2024 election, All Voting is Local Michigan organized the MIVoted campaign, enlisting support from local and state partners, as well as artists and designers, to launch a creative public awareness campaign aimed at informing voters about all of the new voting options they now have to cast their vote! Michigan is a national leader in voting rights, and this campaign only further reveals how strong our democracy can be when it works for the people, not against us.
“Throughout October and leading up to Election Day, MIVoted will engage Michigan voters online, across social media, and at in-person Early Vote Parties, ensuring they are aware of their new rights and freedoms at the ballot box.”
Voter resources are now available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Bangla, and Traditional Cantonese! Visit MIVoted.org to learn more!
