WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the Supreme Court’s decision preventing the Trump administration from implementing parts of a U.S. Postal Service rule on mail-in ballots, All Voting is Local Co-founder and CEO Hannah Fried released the following statement:
“The Supreme Court’s decision today affirms what we already know: The freedom to vote is a core American value, and every voter should have the ability to vote in whatever method works best for them. This has been the case for more than 150 years, and today it stands.
“Remember, what happens next is up to us. Now is the time to check your voter registration and make a plan to vote. From now through November, All Voting is Local will continue supporting state and local election officials to ensure that voters have access to the ballot box and have the resources they need to exercise their freedom to vote and get their ballots in by Election Day.”
