ATLANTA – All Voting is Local Georgia State Director Kristin Nabers issued the following statement in response to members of the Georgia State Election Board’s call for the federal government to intervene with the state’s voting machines:
“The election denialists at the Georgia State Election Board are trying to sow chaos into the midterms before voting takes place. Certain members of this board continue to show that they do not serve Georgia voters, they serve the interests of the Trump administration. The board has already advocated for the administration’s interference in elections many times in Trump’s second term, including when multiple board members served as witnesses in the FBI’s bogus investigation into Fulton County.
“We in Georgia are all too familiar with the real-world effect these lies can have following the federal government’s embarrassing interference in Fulton earlier this year that resulted in nothing more than a media circus. This is another attempt to set the stage for election deniers to contest results if the votes don’t go the way they prefer.”
