Carson City, NV — Today, AB 367 passed into law. Upon implementation, this bill will improve language accessibility in Nevada’s elections by expanding translation and interpretation services and requiring all election communications from the state to be in English and Spanish. In response, All Voting is Local Nevada Campaign Manager Chanel Cassanello-Moran issued the following statement:

“We are extremely pleased that AB 367 has passed, as it is a commonsense bill that will work to ensure no voter is left behind on election day. In order to have a functioning democracy where all of Nevada’s voters have the opportunity to make their voices heard, our state must ensure elections are accessible to everyone—not just those who speak English. With language accessibility now the law of the land in Nevada, we expect to see greater voter participation, fewer hurdles for voters, and a more representative democracy in 2026 and beyond.”
