Advisory: Advocates Implore Georgia Secretary of State to Remove Barriers to the Ballot Ahead of January Senate Runof

ATLANTA - All Voting is Local Georgia and leading voting rights advocates will host a telephone press briefing on Tuesday, December 8, at 10 a.m. ET to urge Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to immediately direct counties to expand early voting sites and hours, resolve voting technology problems, publish updated ballot status information, and add more ballot drop boxes ahead of the January 5 runoff elections.

Advocates Implore Florida Gov. DeSantis to Expand Voter Registration Outreach, Voting Options

TALLAHASSEE - All Voting is Local Florida and leading voting rights advocates from League of Women Voters of Florida, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Common Cause Florida in a telephone press briefing once again urged Gov. Ron DeSantis to issue an executive order to increase the use of ballot drop boxes, allow more time for mail-in ballots to be counted, and to expand early voting. Advocates also pressed Gov. DeSantis to expand voter registration outreach efforts, which is especially critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ATLANTA — All Voting is Local Georgia, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., and nearly 20 nonpartisan voting rights organizations urged Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to enact three strategies for expanding access to ballot return ballot drop boxes, which will provide safe and accessible voting for all Georgians in the general election.

Franklin County, Ohio Court Decision a Win for Voter Access

CLEVELAND — All Voting is Local Ohio State Director Kayla Griffin issued the following statement in response to the recent ruling by the Court of Common Pleas in Franklin County affirming multiple ballot drop boxes are allowed in each county, which Ohio’s Secretary of State Frank LaRose has already appealed.
