CLEVELAND All Voting is Local welcomed Kayla S. Griffin as its Ohio State Director to lead the campaign’s fight to remove barriers between Ohioans and the ballot box.

“We are excited to have Griffin join the All Voting is Local team in Ohio,” said Hannah Fried, national campaign director for All Voting is Local. “Her strong background working on campaign issues, registering voters, and in criminal justice reform aligns with All Voting is Local’s mission to expand access to the vote.”

Prior to joining All Voting is Local, Griffin served as an adjunct professor at Bryant & Stratton College in Cleveland while serving as special projects director for Youth Violence Prevention, Intervention, and Opportunity at the Division of Recreation for the City of Cleveland. In 2019, Griffin completed a year-long advocacy fellowship with the national NAACP. Griffin holds a Juris Doctorate and a Masters of Public Administration from Cleveland State University and a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.

Griffin is based in Cleveland, joining All Voting is Local’s team working on the ground in key states facing distinct assaults on voting rights: Arizona, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Nevada.
