Sinagra began her activism by organizing mutual aid funds for the LGBTQ community and leading protests against police brutality in her hometown of Pittsburgh.

She later took on formal campaign roles, working to pass decarceratory ballot initiatives, including banning solitary confinement in Allegheny County Jail.

Sinagra joined All Voting Is Local after holding several campaign leadership positions focused on fair economic policy, fundraising for causes and enfranchising Pennsylvania’s marginalized communities.
