PINAL Co., Arizona — All Voting is Local Arizona State Director Alex Gulotta released the following statement in response to the court ruling that failed to require Pinal County to offer use of an accessible voting machine instead of sending voters to another precinct:
“This ruling is unbelievable. Instead of creating a more accessible democracy, Pinal County has decided to make voting less convenient for eligible voters. The Election Procedures Manual clearly states what counties must do when providing voter access, but the court allowed the county to violate the law, which is frustrating. Neither the county nor the court should be raising barriers to the ballot box.”
