New Legislation Calling for Hearings on Election Reform is a Critical Step in Ensuring the Freedom to Vote for Philadelphians
PHILADELPHIA — All Voting is Local Pennsylvania State Director Scott Seeborg issued the following statement in response to the introduction of Resolution 210657, which calls for hearings on election reform, an important step forward for the Philadelphia City Council to ensure free, fair elections:
Pennsylvania Civil Rights, Immigrant Rights Organizations Showcase Voter Guides in More Than 10 Languages
PHILADELPHIA — All Voting Is Local, in collaboration with Citizens for Language Access, a group of voting and immigrant rights organizations representing over 15 language minority communities in Philadelphia, will showcase non-partisan user-friendly voter guides available in more than 10 languages on Thursday, September 17th from 10:30 a.m. — 12 p.m. ET via Facebook Live and Zoom. The resources were designed by the City of Philadelphia after months of collaboration between the city’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and Citizens for Language Access partner organizations.
Civil Rights Advocates Urge Pennsylvania Election Officials to Protect Voting Rights for Spanish Speakers
PHILADELPHIA — All Voting Is Local, in collaboration with Ceiba, the Lawyers’ Committee on Civil Rights Under Law and Latino community leaders will convene an online discussion with state election officials about their adherence to Spanish language access for voters as required under the Voting Rights Act on Tuesday, August 25th from 12:00 — 1:30 p.m. via Facebook Live and Zoom.
