Shauntay Nelson, the state director of All Voting is Local, a progressive group working to get out the vote in Wisconsin, told ABC News that the coronavirus has motivated voters in the state even more. "I've driven around to some of the early voting sites, and I've seen an energy and an excitement especially among Black and brown people," Nelson said.

Scott Seeborg, the Pennsylvania state director for voting advocacy organization All Voting is Local, agreed. “I think that Pennsylvania is on track to be able to have a count within, I would say, safely, seven days of the election,” he said.

Peter Burress, Wisconsin campaign manager for All Voting is Local, says the first obstacle to be cleared is making sure people know their rights. “The fact that a vast majority of people in our jails are eligible to vote, they may be in jail pretrial or serving a sentence for a misdemeanor, folks need to know that their right to vote has not been taken away,” Burress says.
