Advocates Urge Lawmakers to Allow Remote Testimony for 2022 Legislative Session

PHILADELPHIA — In partnership with local voting rights and advocacy groups, All Voting is Local Pennsylvania will host a panel discussion on Thursday, January 6 at 12 p.m. ET in Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center. The event will be open to attendees virtually. On the first anniversary after the storming of the U.S. Capitol by anti-democracy insurrectionists, this discussion will focus on ways we can stop bad actors from continuing their deliberate disinformation campaign to attack our freedom to vote.
Voter Policies Are Nonexistent in Ohio Jails
In 2020, All Voting is Local Ohio teamed up with statewide advocates to assess how difficult it is for eligible voters in jail to cast a ballot. We wanted to know: Did county jails and boards of elections have policies and procedures to facilitate the voting and registration of eligible voters in jails, and did they cooperate with volunteers who sought to provide those services?
