Voting Rights Groups Urge Secretary of State Frank LaRose to Include Further Provisions in Election Officials Manual to Increase Access to the Ballot

CLEVELAND — Today, three key organizations of the Ohio Voter Rights Coalition and the nonpartisan Election Protection coalition – All Voting is Local, ACLU of Ohio, and League of Women Voters of Ohio – submitted comments for the Election Officials Manual (EOM), urging the state to ensure voting policies that increase access to the ballot so that all Ohio voters can make their voices heard.

Advisory: Jan 6th Event to Lift Up Voting Rights, Defend Democracy

PHILADELPHIA — In partnership with local voting rights and advocacy groups, All Voting is Local Pennsylvania will host a panel discussion on Thursday, January 6 at 12 p.m. ET in Philadelphia’s National Constitution Center. The event will be open to attendees virtually. Voter Policies Are Nonexistent in Ohio Jails

In 2020, All Voting is Local Ohio teamed up with statewide advocates to assess how difficult it is for eligible voters in jail to cast a ballot. We wanted to know: Did county jails and boards of elections have policies and procedures to facilitate the voting and registration of eligible voters in jails, and did they cooperate with volunteers who sought to provide those services?
