Media Advisory: Voting Rights Leaders to Assess Georgia’s Primary Runoff and Discuss Critical Election Changes for November

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. EST, voting rights experts and advocates from All Voting is Local Georgia, ACLU of Georgia, Black Voters Matter, Common Cause Georgia, National Federation for the Blind-Georgia, and New Georgia Project will host a telephone press briefing to evaluate Georgia officials’ performance during Tuesday’s runoff election and discuss critical changes to help more Georgians vote in November. Speakers will discuss how officials executed the August 11 runoff and offer recommendations for avoiding unnecessary problems in November’s general election.
