Advocates Host Virtual Town Hall to Mobilize Voters Ahead of June Primary

ATLANTA – Leading voting rights organizations, convened by the ProGeorgia coalition, hosted a virtual town hall Monday night to empower voters in historically disenfranchised communities with information about changes in election practices, so their voices will be heard in the June 9 primary. National Week of Action Brings Together Civil Rights Groups for Safe and Fair Elections

WASHINGTON – The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and All Voting is Local, with its joint campaign And Still I Vote, will hold multiple events this week to mobilize voters and urge officials across the country to ensure fair, safe, and accessible elections in 2020. These activities are part of the National Week of Action as well as Turn Up Tuesdays, a weekly national call to action to ensure people are informed and activated to vote November.

Civil Rights Groups Urge Pennsylvania Officials to Remove Barriers to Voting By Mail Ahead of June 2 Primary

HARRISBURG - All Voting is Local, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and 17 voting rights organizations called on Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar and other officials to improve access to voting-by-mail for all Pennsylvanians for the June 2 primary, particularly for non-English speakers and people who lack a PennDOT ID.
